SR. Database Marketing Analyst
Location: Pala, CA
The Senior Database Marketing Analyst is responsible for performing advanced data analysis of all aspects of Pala Casino Resort and Spa. Responsible for producing reports on numerous data points which will enable management to make more informed business decisions. Provide management with analysis, summaries and recommendations based on your findings. Lead analysis to gather data, organize it into reports and provide conclusions. Perform ad-hoc reporting based on departmental needs.
QUALIFICATIONS: (Include equipment knowledge/use)
- Minimum five (5) years
of experience in marketing analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL,
SAS, Powerbi, Lookr or tableau and bachelor’s degree in math, Finance, accounting,
or data science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills.
- Experience with customer
segmentation, predictive modeling and A/B testing.
- Microsoft Access, or
knowledge of other data access and reporting tools
- Microsoft Office
- Must understand how to
calculate the ROI of a project.
- Excellent guest service,
people and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must be able to delegate effectively and manage time well
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Data
Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize SQL, SAS,
PowerBi, Lookr, and/or Tableau to analyze large datasets and generate
insightful reports for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain
dashboards to track key performance indicators and marketing metrics.
Customer
Segmentation
- Conduct customer
segmentation analysis to identify target audiences for marketing.
- Collaborate with marketing
teams to tailor strategies based on customer behavior and preferences.
Campaign
Optimization:
- Evaluate the
effectiveness of marketing campaigns though data analysis and recommend
optimizations for future initiatives.
- Work closely with the
marketing team to A/B test strategies and measure campaign success.
Database
Management
- Manage and maintain the
integrity of the casino’s customer database.
- Ensure data accuracy,
completeness and compliance with privacy regulations.
Predictive
Modeling
- Develop productive
models to forecast customer behavior, preferences and lifetime value.
- Provide actionable
insights to enhance player engagement and retention.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with
Marketing, IT and other relevant departments to ensure seamless
integration of data and analytics into marketing strategies.
- Communicate findings
and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.

- Stay informed about
industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in data
analytics and marketing.
- Share knowledge and contribute to the development of the analytics team.
